Pentecost colors are red. The quilt installation for this feast day and Confirmation is a large dove quilt and seven small quilts depicting flames of fire that are staggered along the brick wall of the sanctuary. Machine quilted words on these quilts lists the gifts of the Holy Spirit: piety, fortitude, understanding, knowledge, counsel, wisdom, and fear of the Lord.
