All Saints and All Souls 2002, 72" x 36"
On Halloween's Eve, the All Saint and All Souls Quilt is hung. It has a traditional shield shape and uses a black and silver to represent the earthly life and the heavenly life. November is the month of the holy souls and so the words Holy, Holy, Holy are appropriate. On either side are two smaller quilts which echo the colors and have the traditional quilt pattern Cross and Crown. Names of saints have been machine quilted around the edge of the center quilt.
